About Rollers

Hi my name is Jorge L Garcia III. I’ve been wanting to do a blog on cigars for a while. With plans to open a brick and mortar cigar store always floating through my wildest dreams I am just about ready to make that a reality.

Jorge

So while I plan for the store (which you all better be at!) I will be spending time on this blog. I’ll be continuously reviewing cigars, answering general and specific cigar related questions, and putting down my thoughts as well as noting progress on my future store.

If there is a cigar you’ve been dying to try but want me to be the guinea pig, I’ll gladly take up the challenge. I’ll also be smoking select cigars on my own and posting video and written reviews.

I’m also an avid fly fisherman and I love to tie my own flies. So I’ll be posting pictures and talking about my fishing adventures along with what cigars I have brought along down to the water. Cigars and fly fishing what else is there?

Oh right there’s also golf! I’ll be talking about what courses I’ve been playing at and what cigars I’ve been smoking while teeing off.

Hold the presses, let’s not forget about Softball. Competitive tournament softball is my sport of choice and I am definitely going to be talking about it here in my blog.

This should prove to be a fun blogging adventure.

Help the momentum and e-mail me your cigar, fly fishing, golf and softball related questions and topics to rollerscigars@cfl.rr.com

Who am I to talk?

While I hold a Graphic Design BFA, I’ve managed a very large cigar store in South Florida,  I’ve been a cigar store planner, designer, buyer and consultant, I’ve smoked almost every cigar on the planet (well maybe not the whole planet, but give me time!)  I’ve designed cigar bands, logos, advertisements and trade show displays for multiple ‘big name’ and smaller boutique cigar companies. Over the years cigars have remained a true passion in my life but the journey never exhausts itself, so I continue to be a student of the art! I fly fish because “I gotta” and my fiance thinks I’m obsessed (she may be right!) Golfing–well I guess it comes with the territory and is something else I’ve done for years. While I used to play minor league baseball, I got into golfing and now I’m all about competitive tournament softball. I guess it has something to do with swinging clubs and hitting balls. It’s a man thing?? I own several online businesses and I could plug them all here but I’ll stick to the point. Point being: Cigars. Fly fishing. Golfing. Softball. And whatever else I feel like discussing.

Enjoy!,
Jorge
